IL LABIRINTO DEL MINOTAURO: CAVE DI MARNE NEL COMUNE DI OLGIATE MOLGORA

Sommario   Si ripercorre brevemente la storia della cementeria del Fabbricone e la cava sotterranea Pelucchi, in territorio di Olgiate Molgora (Lecco), indagata da sub e speleosub del Gruppo Sommozzatori Almè (Bergamo). Oltre all’inquadramento geologico e geomorfologico dell’area oggetto d’esame si tratta delle operazioni speleosubacquee condotte per la comprensione e lo studio dell’impianto sotterraneo, unitamente all’indagine biospeleologica riguardante una colonia di pipistrelli presente nell’ipogeo.

Abstract   We shortly trace the history of the Cementeria del Fabbricone and the subterranean quarry Pelucchi, in the territory of Olgiate Molgora (Lecco), which was researched by the divers and speleo-divers of Gruppo Sommozzatori Almè (Bergamo). Object of the studies, besides the geological and geomorphological registration of the area, were the operations of speleo-divers for the comprehension and the knowledge of the entire subterranean segment, including a biospeleological exploration of a bat-colony living in the hypogeum.
