Sommario L’Antro delle Gallerie è un complesso situato in Valganna sotto l’Alpe Cuseglio ed è sempre stato oggetto di interesse e curiosità per la sua morfologia particolare ed il suo scopo originario ancora non ben chiarito. Lo scopo del lavoro intrapreso è quello di documentare lo stato delle conoscenze attuali e principalmente documentarne:
– la morfologia tramite un rilievo tridimensionale che ne faciliti la lettura e l’interpretazione dell’origine e dello scopo,
– le particolarità morfologiche che possano fornire indizi circa il suo passato utilizzo,
– le caratteristiche geologiche che possano motivare le particolarità del complesso,
– le relazioni con il territorio circostante.
Il lavoro ha preso avvio da una ricerca documentale e sulla presa di conoscenza delle esplorazioni sinora condotte. È proseguito con il rilievo topografico restituito su CAD e su Compass per ottenere una rappresentazione tridimensionale e parallelamente ha visto la documentazione video-fotografica del complesso e di alcune sue particolarità. Il lavoro è ancora in corso.
Abstract The “Antro delle Gallerie” which is a subterraneous complex situated in Valganna near “Alpe Cuseglio”, has always been subject of interest and curiosity due to its peculiar morphology and for its unknown original use. The purpose of the research is to document the state of the present knowledge and mainly to document:
– its morphology through a tridimensional survey that will make it easier to understand the complex structure and its origin and scope,
– the morphological particularities that can give clues about its past use,
– the geological charachteristic which can be a cause of the peculiarity of the complex,
– the relationship between the complex and the surrounding places.
The work has been started from a document research about the explorations performed up to now and has been continued with the topographic survey having as output CAD drawings and Compass 3D models and, at the same time, with both video and photographic documentation of the complex and of some of its peculiar parts. This research is still in progress.
